“For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 NIV)
We should never doubt God’s love for us. God’s love for us is everlasting and eternal. His love for us surpasses all understanding. God reaches toward us with tender loving-kindness that is motivated by His deep love for us. A love so deep that because of our sins, He chose to die for us. This kind of love transcends all barriers to understanding. There is nothing that God would not do for us when our hearts are toward Him.
King David was a man who sought after God’s own heart. Though his life was marked with trouble, David consistently displayed faith in God, which pleased the Lord. David’s heart was in the right place.
Like David, we too should seek after God’s heart. We do this by putting Him in first place. Having a personal relationship with God should be our first priority in life. When we seek God with all of our heart, we find out God’s good plan for our life. Plans that cause us to prosper and succeed, (Jere. 29:11). God is able to grant our hearts deepest desires.
When we pursue God’s heart, we find life at its best, a life worth living and abundantly lived. Seek God’s will for your life. Take time, make time, and set time aside to spend with Him. A personal relationship with God is the most important relationship that you can have. Get to know Him. After all, He gave His life for you. Won’t you live for Him?

Oh he loves us, oh how he loves us. Your words are beautiful and God weaved. I want to be a woman after Gods own heart. I want to look up one day and realize that God is not only watching me but is moved by me. What I love best about your writing is you always tell your readers how to find your God and you direct them through and to scripture. That’s everlasting and will never return void. My thoughts is that if He’s going to be moved by you one day, He already has been moved, seeing that He is Sovereign, Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Immutable. He sees the end at the beginning. He’s all-knowing, all-seeing God, ever present God, He changes not.That means He already knew all about you before you were born. That day that you are speaking of, consider it so! As I read your post ,all I could think of was how just giving even the smallest amount of time to developing a personal relationship with God avails much. He does something so great that it makes you want him to know him more. Truly falling in love with Jesus was the best thing I have ever done and I need and pray for his guidance in my life everyday. Hi Debra!! I so agree. Giving my life to the Lord and placing my trust and faith in God was the best thing I have ever done in my entire life. Life is so much better now compared to when I didn’t have a relationship with Him. Knowing that we are the apple of His eye and that our names are written on the palm of His hand, is assurance that He has us constantly on His mind and that He will never forget about us. There is no love that compares to the love of God. Continue to seek Him first and daily. He will lead you and guide you every step of the way. God loves you and He has you on His mind.
