Today’s Scripture: “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21).
Tattoos, ribbons and bows are all ornamental objects. Tattoos can represent meaningful times within ones life. Oftentimes, people get tattoos for the personal memories of loved ones or special people with whom they have share their lives but lost. Some people use tattoos to announce a new identity or a new found freedom that they have discovered for themselves. They display a playful name, or perhaps a peace sign, or a Chinese symbol. Depending on their vision, some people proudly wear their tattoos as a glorious badge of honor.
Ribbons sometimes represent an accomplishment. Imagine a race horse has just crossed the finish line. He’s out run all of the other thoroughbreds and has won the race. The horse’s owner receives a blue ribbon signifying his horse as the finest and the swiftest of them all…
