Scripture: “I have set before you an open door, which no man is able to shut” (Rev. 3:8 ESV).
God is the Author of Life and the Finisher of our Faith. The world was formed by God’s spoken words. Every planet exists by His design. He is the Master Architect and the Orchestator of all life. Man was created, formed and made by God. We are His design from start to finish. The sun rises and sets at His command. Even the winds and the seas obey Him. When God speaks a word it is so. No one comes or goes unless He allows them to. Nothing in all of earth is hidden from His view. Life begins and ends with the Creator.
Nothing in all of earth is done without God’s permissive will. He has the last word in all that is done in heaven and on earth. No one can thwart His plans. You can have what you say, if you do it the right way. But your plans will never succeed without God. If he allows things to happen they will. But when He’s says it over, that means it’s done. There’s no need to continue knocking on a door that He has closed. It was His decision to close it and that’s final.
I once tried to remain inside of a closed door. I had every intentions of doing good. I had a plan and I knew that it would work all because I had faith. Needless to say that all that I tried did not succeed. My good intentions were not a part of His plan. What I did not know then, was that when God is done with a thing His anointing is removed and nothing else will work after that. It’s the anointing that stops the enemy, and opens blinded eyes. Burdens are removed and yokes are destroyed, all by the power of His Might and none of mine. It didn’t matter how much good I intended. All that mattered was what He willed, and was for all that He had purposed to do. After I got this revelation I was able to move on and continue on through the next opened door of opportunity. And oh boy, what a great lesson this was for me!
So stop worrying and toiling, and look for new opportunities to arise. When one door closes another one will open. Perhaps you’re currently going though a transition. Friends are leaving, family denying you, problems seems to be all around and nothing makes sense at all. But one thing is for sure, God is in control. Your life is in the hands of a Sovereign God. He’s able to turn things around to work in your favor (Rom. 8:28). Just know that it’s not over until God says it’s over. So, relax and let Him be God.
Put your trust in God. He never fails!
Love and Blessing,
